COVID instruction: Only the client and and artist are allowed in the shop during the tattoo process. A mask is required to be worn at all times (over the nose and under the chin) by the client and artist during the tattoo process.
We have right to refuse service to anyone unwilling to follow the Covid protocol. If you are medically unable to wear a mask then special arrangements need to be made one week in advance and you will need to be tattooed in a separate shop in our building, this is upon availability of that room and at the artist discretion. If you bring in one of the FAKE DOJ cards, you will be banned from our shop. We will not risk our livelihoods to allow your rebellion against rules we have to follow strictly or get shut down. Mask are uncomfortable, we should know, we wear them for up to 14 hours a day. We thank you for your cooperation.
Some info on regulations: What's True:
The ADA requires that businesses with mandatory mask rules for customers due to COVID-19 also must accommodate people who may not be able to wear masks due to medical conditions or disabilities. In many cases individuals do not need to disclose or provide proof of those medical conditions. However we do still have the right to refuse service to anyone if we feel our clients or the artist are at risk health wise.
However, face mask "exempt" cards were declared fraudulent by the U.S. Department of Justice. The FTBA, the organization mentioned on the card to “report” potential violations to, also does not appear to be officially recognized by any government agencies as an enforcing body.
